Let’s go to the museum (4th graders-CM1)

We went to the maritime museum to see an exhibition on climate and ocean

We talked about oceans.

We have seen how the ice is melting at the Arctic ocean.

We have made science experiments about water.

We went in the boat « France 1 »

We visited the engine room.

We have seen the capitain’s room.

5th graders to the Museum ! (CM2)

We have seen a video about oceans. The green squares on the picture show how deep is the ocean.

We have learned about hot and cold streams and the Gulf Stream.

We participated to some experiences about : cold water, hot water, salt water and fresh water.

Kenzo did an experience that showed hot water (red color) going on top of the aquarium.

Rémy and Andy did an experience that showed cold water going down.

Maëlys and Adrianna made an experience with fresh water and salt water.

Que deviennent les légumes du potager ?

Le potager de l’école nous a offert une jolie récolte en cette fin d’été… Les élèves ont pu joyeusement goûter les tomates et radis qu’ils avaient plantés. Puis ils ont récolté les légumes restant.

Ceux-ci ont été donnés par l’intermédiaire de l’association Aux arbres citoyens pour contribuer à une distribution de légumes à destination des étudiants précaires du campus de La Rochelle.
